PCE Options – Package Configuration Editor

This section configures options pertaining to the package configuration editor and related functions.

Show Legend: This item can toggle on (state indicated by a checkmark) the VIPM PCE legend. If the legend is already visible, then this menu item will turn the legend off. The legend is displayed in the bottom right corner of the package list.

Include Entire Package in Configuration File When Adding: Toggling this setting changes the default behavior when new packages are added to the package list. The state of packages already in the file will not change.

If you don’t include the package in the configuration file then only a reference to the package will be stored thus reducing the file size.
